Doctors are once again on the attack when it comes to prescribing rights for optometrists, saying they pose “unacceptable” risks The Australian Medical Association has strongly opposed plans by the Optometry Board of Australia to expand optometrist prescribing rights to include oral medicines. The AMA said in a statement that the move poses unacceptable risks
