Patients have saved more than $18 million on Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) listed medicines since the general co-payment was cut from $42.50 to $30 on 1 January Federal Minister for Health and Aged Care, Mark Butler, said 81 per cent of PBS subsidised prescriptions dispensed to non-concessional patients nationwide, since the start of the year
