TGA adds new entries to prescribing medicines in pregnancy database


Regulator extends the Prescribing Medicines in Pregnancy database to include five additional treatments  Prescribers are being urged to review the categorisation system for prescribing medicines in pregnancy before issuing scripts to mothers-to-be.  Five new entries have been added to the Therapeutic Goods Administration’s (TGA’s) Prescribing Medicines in Pregnancy database.  The update released on Christmas Eve (24 December 2025), included Anacaulase-bcdb, Sepiapterin, Belantamab mafodofin, Delgocitnib and Vanzacaftor+Tezacaftor+Deutivaftor.  Under the revised database, Anacaulase-bcdb, Sepiapterin and Delgocitnib are listed
