TGA green lights Yeytuo registration


Regulator approves registration for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PreP) drug for HIV  Yeytuo (lenacapavir) is being added to the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PreP) to reduce the risk of sexually acquired HIV-1 in individuals aged 16 years and older weighing at least 35 kg.  The approval of the twice year PreP drug by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) follows similar decisions by the US
